  1. Digital media
    The objective of this assignment is to identify digital media types or platforms that who would promote
    your brand to your target audience in a less obvious way than suggesting a FB page or Instagram
    account content.
    Choose two digital media types (vehicles) or plaforms
    They can be any digital media type or platform. Examples: pre-roll on youtube, hulu, etc.; strategic
    online ad placement on a key website that relates to the brand, the category, the audience or maybe
    an indirect connection; super funky social media placement, i.e. not simply a random post on a
    random social media asset; more–the choice is yours.
    Give a media rationale: why each media recommendation works for the brand.
    Include a brief description of media platform, (see SRDS via USF Lib, Nielsen, etc.) include audience
    reach + approx. media costs in $1000s or CPM based on placement.
    List any current advertisers on each media platform.
  2. Influencers
    The objective of this assignment is to suggest social media influencers who would be positive
    brand ambassadors and/or content creators for your client brand.
    Identify 8 influencers on Instagram: Four who specialize in Healthy and/or Smart Living and four
    who specialize in Cooking (not baking). These influencers must have a significant amount of
    followers, over 5,000. They also must be from at least two countries besides the States.
    Screen them for any bad behavior: including bragging (too many selfies (what’s too many?); lowbrow
    image including “unfortunate” fashion–too much skin, bad taste or poor style; negative image
    (sexism, violence, animal abuse, racism, etc.), vulgarity (language, drug use, gross poses etc.)
    Give your rationale for each influencer using this format:
    Who they are?
    Why did you choose him/her?
    What can this person do for the client/brand?
    How will this help the client/brand?
    Create a deck with:

  4. Slides for each media platform: include your rationales on each slide along with media
    profile.
  5. Slides for influencer groupings, slide answering influencer vetting questions above. Four
    slides for each influencer group, with their names, handles, link to Instagram, follower
    count, description of the person and their content and mantra, image of influencer and
    recent decent post.
