Different trade policies or tariffs

There are several different trade policies or tariffs
(some moving in a protectionist direction, some moving towards freer trade. Drawing on three separate tariffs or trade policies covered
in either the readings or lecture or both, how important were domestic
political institutions in shaping the tariffs or, more generally, the trade
policies? In discussing the importance of domestic political institutions, make
sure that you also discuss other factors that could have influenced the
adoption of the tariffs or trade policies in your paper.
