Diabetes

Visit the following website from the American Heart Association: http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Diabetes/DiabetesToolsResources/Diabetes-Personal-Stories_UCM_313912_Article.jsp

Note the American Heart Association seems to have moved their stories on diabetes. Instead you can read four of the stories from this site https://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes-real-life-stories.html They are not videos, so you will have to read them. Or here are some videos, https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/video/default.htm and here are some more https://www.healthnavigator.org.nz/videos/d/diabetes-videos/diabetes-personal-stories/ choose among the ones that tell individuals stories not just videos on diabetes.

This website highlights personal journeys from people living with Type 2 Diabetes. Choose 4 of these videos to watch (or read the transcript). Make note of common themes and write an essay describing these themes, as well as other points you found to be interesting in the personal stories. In doing so, be sure to point out the risk factors and possible causes of Type 2 Diabetes and how it differs from Type 1 Diabetes.
