Paper: Recognize risk factors leading to disease and identify preventive measures and treatments.
Premise: You are a Scientist looking for research funding for your favorite disease. You need to educate
Congress and secure funding for research into your disease. Unfortunately, the Congress men and woman
(your classmates) have never had anatomy & physiology, so they need to be educated first to how the healthy
system should function and then educated on your favorite disease.
DO NOT COPY THE BOOK. Put each answer into your own words, but still remember to go into detail about
the anatomy and physiology of the systems (What are the individual pieces, How do the individual pieces
work?). What is your disease and how does it damage or affect the organ system?
