Database Investigate

  1. Introduce the topic. As the last sentence in this first paragraph, you can either give a thesis statement or include the sentence found in most CS papers: "In this paper …"
  2. Describe what kinds of data are typically maintained in a voter registration system. There are downloads of voter registration data on the web, some of which want you to pay. We do NOT expect you to pay and download the data. Instead, find a source that describes the data.
  3. Discuss the motivation behind the choice of each database employed by the company.
  4. Describe the data model behind each database system and provide sample queries supported by them.
  5. Discuss the weaknesses of the chosen database technologies and suggest approaches to address them.
  6. Conclusion - also include what you think about the challenges of integrating data from different databases and if a single database solution can be developed to replace all of the mentioned database systems.
