Data clearing house
After reading “Chapter 4: Getting the Map in the Computer,” you have learned that data can be purchased, downloaded, digitized, and created. The Internet provides a wealth of GIS data that is available to the public. Aside from those referenced within Getting Started with Geographic Information Systems and the ESRI website, search the web for five (5) different websites/scholarly sources of GIS data.
In a Word document, provide the name of the sites and the web addresses, as well as the type of data that is available for use.Cite your scholarly sources in text and on the reference page.
