Crowfunding and Social Media

Order Description In “We Are a Camera,” Paumgarten examines (among other things) the history of the GoPro, its influence on extreme sports, and the promises and perils of wearable cameras. In this essay, similarly, you too will explore the relationship between crowdfunding and social media. The essay should include introduction of crowdfunding, some history, types of crowdfunding, advantages and disadvantages of crowdfunding. Discuss stories of successful crowdfunding projects. The main focus of the essay should be equity crowdfunding that should be developed off of the attached proposal. You will utilize a minimum of seven sources in your paper. These should be a good mix of primary, scholarly, and popular sources, and should be clearly and thoroughly cited throughout your paper. You will also produce an annotated bibliography. This annotated bibliography will be a minimum of two pages long. For each source, you will provide an MLA works cited page citation followed by a paragraph in which you summarize the source’s argument. You should include at least three academic sources, as well as a good balance of articles, websites, and books. All of your sources should be credible. Under no circumstances should any of your sources be encyclopedias (including Wikipedia), dictionaries, or other sources (like ProCon.org) that are meant to provide broad overviews or summaries of complex topics.
