Crisis Drill

Write one page response to post below. The crisis drill should have accessible points that everyone on the management team can get to in order to have this situation monitored as it's progressing and changing. When dealing with the crisis honesty is the best policy and giving everyone all the information they need to accommodate the situation is a necessity. The management team needs to keep in mind what the problem is and everything directly associated with it so information and tactics don't get misconstrued when trying to defuse the situation ("Characteristics of a crisis", 2017). Another major component for me would be addressing all concerns from individuals who are being affected. If this isn't done the right way it can cause panic that will potentially have a domino effect on other employees. Once this happens, it can be nearly impossible to get everyone to settle down in an attempt to handle the crisis at hand. When measuring the success of the aftermath when it comes to a crisis that has taken place should look at the timing of it and how long it took to get things back where they should be. Prolonging a small issue can have detrimental consequences to an organization, that's why the management team has to respond immediately and take as much accurate action as soon as they can. Access to information would be another measurement in my opinion. There should be no secrets among management when handling a crisis to ensure that all the information gets to it's designated persons and those who are supposed to be responsible can have accurate reports.
