develop a more critical perspective on our present criminal justice system, you are expected to research and write a paper on one of the eight course outcomes identified in this syllabus. Each student is will:

pick one of the eight course objectives (learning outcomes) to research
Research the objective at the academic level expected of a university student. As an example, researching course outcome two, “Understand the role different actors have in the Juvenile Justice system,” I will expect you to define the key actors, discuss their different roles, and how different actors in the system interact with one another.
Analysis the impact. Here you explain the course outcome’s impact on the American criminal justice system and the larger American society. This is also the area where you, as an academic and future professional can share with me, the reader, how you individually view the topic you have researched.
