Contemporary debates about justice

(1) Sandel describes three different contemporary debates about justice: price gouging after natural disasters, the question of who deserves a Purple Heart, and the question of government bailouts after the market crash of 2009. In your post, examine Sandel's description of one of these debates. What does he think the example shows about justice? What can we learn from the debate, according to Sandel? What is one way to object to his analysis?

(2) In our reading, Sandel describes a famous thought experiment "The Runaway Trolley." In your post, explain this thought experiment. What is it supposed to show us about justice? What lesson do you take from it?
