Comparative Analysis Essay of the relationship between “Panopticism” by Michel Foucault and The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander Consider how Alexander and Foucault both undertake similar themes in their texts and examine how they develop their ideas. While their purposes and approaches are different, in many cases their ideas are complementary. Construct an argument where you first state how the texts relate to one another in ideas and then contrast how each text differs in its treatment of the similar themes, subjects and ideas defined above.
