1. Explain the purpose and importance of financial analysis.
2. Describe the limitations of financial analysis.
3. Explain industry economics and strategies.
4. Calculate and use a comprehensive set of measurements to evaluate the corporations performance under the following headings- (a) How liquid are the companies? (b) Are the managers generating adequate operating profits on the companies’ assets? (c) How are the companies financing their assets? (d) Are the companies’ managers providing a good return on the capital provided by the stockholders? (e) Are the company’s manager creating shareholder value?
5. Calculate projected financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows based on the current and future financial condition of the company.
6. Include a conclusion of the financial analysis.
