Ames, IADear APS consultant, B-Rad cow/calf Farm is a small family farm specializing in purebred shorthorn cattle intended to enter commercial production. We frequently have clients on the farm to view cattle and to load in/out cattle. Our first site currently has capacity for 50 cow/calf pairs. We are looking to expand with the addition of a second site of a “green” piece of land. On behalf of B-Rad cow/calf Farm, I would like to thank you for planning out our new confinement cow/calf facility for our Ames location. A few key things I am looking for to be included in this APS are full confinement of the cows year-round including, year-round confinement for all the bulls, indoor working facilities with easy access for pulling calves, and inclusion of technology where possible to help us. We look forward to receiving your APS plan to meet our needs. Sincerely, B-Rad cow/calf Farm, LLC.
