What is Ethics?
In Learning Activity #1, you will state your views on what ethics means to you.
Discuss the role that business ethics has in the societal ethics. Consider whether the function of business is simply to make a profit without regard for the impact that business decisions have on the stakeholders or whether conducting business in an ethical manner is an obligation or responsibility. If conducting business ethically is an obligation, under what authority is it an obligation? Consider the question of whether society or the government rewards business for being socially responsible.
