Businesses and marketers often “spin” information on their websites, which can “taint” company sites as a reliable source of information. Students should seek out and peruse a variety of sources in order to achieve a comfort level with those they choose to work with. There is a middle ground between being “naïve” and believing everything you read and hear, and being “cynical” and believing nothing that you read and hear, and that middle ground is where we will attempt to conduct our MK 4450 class.
Sources should always be cited using APA format. Work with no sources cited will lose a full letter grade. To purchase an APA style guide, go to: https://apastyle.apa.org/products/concise-guide.
