Each student will write a 4-5 page book review of the book Data and Goliath by Bruce Schneier.
Book Review Requirements (4-5 pages) -
A successful book review will include at least all of the following:
A cover page with student name, date, and title. (-5% if missing)
A brief summary of the book noting the author’s main objectives and/or an outline in essay format of the main points or arguments. (Hint: Prove that you have read the book in about 2 pages or less.)
A strong critique/analysis of the book noting both good/strong and bad/weak points/arguments. Be sure to note any bias if there is any on the part of the author and if there is note its effect on the book’s arguments. Note: you are to be objective and fair (neutral) in this part of the review
A conclusion describing your overall impression of the book. Note: You may and should bring your own personal opinion and world view into this part of the review.
