Being Called
Being Called
the theme of the first part of the course is ″Being called.″ In this paper you will compare Socrates′s calling to the calling of ONE person in the Old Testament of the
Bible (Adam/Eve, Abraham, or Moses). In comparing these two figures, you should answer the following questions: What kind of life/mission was each person called to? To
what extent did their calling lead them to a better life? Your paper need not include a full introductory paragraph or conclusion. A couple of sentences at the
beginning will suffice. However, in the first sentence or two you must include a thesis statement articulating the point you will try to prove in the paper (e.g.,
Socrates′s calling led him to a better life than Moses′s). It does not matter what position you take. What matters is that you articulate your position clearly and
provide evidence from the text to support your argument. Additional requirements: At the top right of the first page include your name, Journey of Transformation,
