You are a finalist candidate for a position of junior financial assistant at Be-Trade Securities Corp. You
impressed the hiring committee with your proper dinner etiquette at the finalist’s dinner. Your final assignment
is to write a one-page stock analysis research paper on each of three assigned stocks for a hypothetical
investor. The Chairperson of the hiring committee, Ms. Market, presents you with a list of three stocks. The
assumptions you must incorporate into your reports are as follows: *The investor has a 3-5 year holding period
*The investor seeks a combination of growth and income *The investor favors fundamental research *The
investor likes to buy at a bargain price *The investor does not like 1-day technical charts She wants to test your
sense of judgment. You must write an executive summary report on each stock.
Your report must rate each stock as Buy or Hold or Sell, along with your reasoning. Provide statistical data,
within each summary report, to support your point of view on each of these three stocks: 1. CitiGroup (C) 2.
Intel (INTC) 3. Tesla (TSLA) Ms. Market expects you to perform online research into each stock. In your
reports, you should note significant recent developments, such as a change in CEO or activist hedge fund
actions, in your report. Do not include a bibliography but mention your sources within each executive summary.
Ms. Market does not want you to rank these three stocks in a pecking order such as first, second, third. She
only wants your professional opinion on each stock. You may rate all three stocks with the same rating but you
must provide a rating on each of the three stocks.
