• Purpose of Assessment 1A : This assignment is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop understandings of theories of observations and their use in education settings.
• The assessment enables students to demonstrate a good understanding of how to conduct a research investigation exploring observational techniques, the use and recording of data as an evidence source, their purpose in education and how they can be utilised to inform teaching and learning.

The Task: You will present a report, in essay format, that will provide theoretical, research and policy perspectives and the use of a range of observation styles and teaching and learning evaluation techniques that are used in the educational context.
