Read Chapter 3 in Reading Critically, Writing Well. This will prepare you to complete the brief reflection activities that follow in this module and help you form the building blocks of your autobiographical essay.
As you are reading the chapter, and especially the autobiographical narratives it contains, please brainstorm a list of potential events from your life that you can write about in your own essay. Eventually, you will select one to develop for your paper. Whichever event you select should be one you are comfortable sharing with the class.
A complete draft of your essay will be due on August 31, 2020. This should contain an introduction, which includes a thesis statement. It should also include supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. This should be approximately the length of your final paper.
