Characteristics of Students with ADHD
Students with ADHD are often characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Inattention can manifest itself in a number of ways, such as difficulty paying attention, difficulty staying on task, and difficulty following directions. Hyperactivity can manifest itself in a number of ways, such as fidgeting, excessive talking, and difficulty sitting still. Impulsivity can manifest itself in a number of ways, such as blurting out answers, interrupting others, and taking risks without thinking.
