Assignment 4 Order Description The position of indigenous peoples in various ASEAN countries differs substantially. Indigenous Peoples Organisations like AIPP like to refer to international legislation such as ILO and UN conventions and declarations (like UNDRIP) to claim rights and recognition in their home countries. Do you think, on the basis of the case of the Ifugao Rice Terraces, that indigenous peoples in Southeast Asia are or should be in favour of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention in their struggle for legal recognition or not? Motivate your answer preferably incorporating this week’s readings for it
