I will upload the instructions for you, and the references as well. Please just use the references that I will upload. PLEASE read the instructions very carefully. Materials design: assessment tasks for learning 1. Nominate an outcome from the curriculum that supports a particular group of learners. Explain briefly the context for choosing this as your area of focus (what has been already taught, link to an event, time of year, student needs, etc) and the timeframe you have in mind for students to achieve this outcome. (up to 300 words) 2. Outline a diagnostic activity to assess students’ existing knowledge/skill that you would need prior to beginning a teaching and learning program. Explain what this activity would show and how it would orient your teaching and learning decisions. Justify choices with reference. (+/- 500 words) 3. Outline the formative assessment activities you would undertake during the teaching and learning program and explain how these would assist you in delivering your planned teaching and learning program. Justify choices with reference. (+/- 500 words) 4. Outline the final summative assessment you would administer to test achievement of the outcome. Mention what information this activity would provide for further teaching and learning beyond this program. Justify choices with reference. (+/- 500 words) 5. As part of the summative task, provide a rubric that a teacher could use to assess levels of achievement. (equivalent 200 words) 6. Ensure your writing maintains a formal, academic register with a minimum of 5 references, all cited correctly. Academic writing and citations are hurdle requirements for this task. Length: 2000 words, plus references + appendices if needed # I will upload the “planning sheet modal” to see what to discuss. BUT I don’t want you to use the same outcome or activities because I want you to discuss different outcome which is “student can write simple short story”. So I will upload my planning sheet to use it in doing this report. I just do the “Context, Diagnostic assessment, Formative assessment” and you need to add the last part which is about the “Summative assessment”. Please make sure that your writing is in a specific analysis. Please don’t talk in general. #This report is about designing appropriate assessment to achieve the nominated outcome, which I chose “can read simple short story”. Please read the questions above very clearly and then read the planning sheet modal and my planning sheet as well to see what I want you to explain. The planning sheet is written in points. So please don’t just write the same points without provide a clear and deep explanation of each parts. #Also, I will upload word file called “ASSIGNMENT Sentence Starters “ which contains some interesting phrases that can guide you in your writing throughout the paragraphs. The phrases use the first person “I”, and because the writing should be in an academic form so you need to avoid use it and try to paraphrase the sentences and write it in the other way which is more academic. #Also, I will upload the references for you to use it in doing this task. #Also, I will upload the curriculum “We Can 3” to provide it but you don’t need to use anything from it. It is just to mention it in the first section and that will be the curriculum used to teach those students. And to mention also that the selected outcome is from the curriculum. #Also, I will upload the “Rubric sample”, it’s just for you to understand how to write the rubric that required in this task. It’s just a sample for you. Please make sure that the rubric has a relation with the summative test that you will create and the criteria that will be written in the rubric will depend on the summative assessment. #Also, make sure that ALL the three assessments and the activities have a relationship with the outcome. # Please don’t hesitate to ask me if something not clear.
