This chapter discusses the immigration history, community formation, and challenges faced by Americans of Chinese heritage. In the first paragraph, describe some of the challenges Chinese immigrants faced. Choose a quote from the reading to support your point about why it was a challenge. Choose a different one than your peers! The second paragraph, describe any information that you were surprised to learn.
