Task requirements
In this assessment you are required to complete a series of tasks associated with applying for a job. These
tasks are:
provide a screenshot of a possible employment opportunity that is currently advertised that you could apply for
now or in the future,
a tailored cover letter and curricula vitae for the role identified in number 1,
a video recording of a practice interview for the role you are 'applying' for,
and a reflective analysis of your practice interview (500 words max), including aspects of your interview
technique that need work and how you will go about improving your responses.
Please submit the screenshot, cover letter, CV, and reflection in one PDF document. The video recording is
completed on the MyCareers webpage. Instructions and the link will be provided in class.
Assessment Criteria
Clear screenshot of a full and current advertisement of a possible employment opportunity (2 marks)
A tailored cover letter and Curricula Vitae are presented in a professional manner, provide comprehensive
information for a future employer, and represent you as a possible candidate for shortlisting (15 marks)
The practice interview is complete, and your reflective analysis demonstrates that you have considered areas
you need to develop for 'real world' interviews (8 marks)
