Annotated Reference

  Description: Oomplete an Annotated Reference for each of the ten (10) scholarly references you selected- Start the reference with an introduction of what the paper will be about- An introduction is a helpful addition to you annotated bibliography to tell you reader (a) you topic and focus for you research and (b) the general context of you topic- There should be at least five sentences- An annotated bibliography is a combination of the words annotation and bibliography- An annotation is a set of notes, comments, or critiques- (Be sue to incorporate any Instructor feedback from you list of references to include replacement references, if needed- lnstructions and examples of Annotated Reference form- Please do not start this portion of the assignment until I am able to get all of the information from the instructor.) I will make sue that you have enough time to complete this task. Please wait on my response for this part- You will briefly summarize the salient points from each selected reference following the content and formatting guidelines presented below- Oonclude each Annotated Reference entry with one or two sentences on how this research souce will support you scholarly position for you summative paper- This first paragraph of the annotation summarizes the souce- rt outlines the main findings and primary methods of the study- This second paragraph of the annotation analyzes the souce- it explains the benefits of the souce but also the limitations- This third paragraph of the annotation applies the souce- it explains how the souce’s ideas, research, and information can be applied to other contexts- In general, annotated bibliographies should avoid referring to the first or second person (I, me, my, we, ou, you, and us)- lnstead, students should aim to be objective and remove themselves from annotations- However, there may be some exceptions to this guideline- Check with you instructor if you are unsue about whether he/she will allow you to use “I” in you annotated bibliography- Thanks for you cooperation- Example annotation below includes the citation, a summary in the first paragraph, the critique/analysis in the second paragraph, and the application in the third paragraph-
