An environmental sociological issue
Instructions – Final Paper
For the final paper, students will discuss an environmental issue (of the student’s choosing—for instance, global warming, animal rights, pollution, etc.) from a sociological perspective. A successful paper will include two elements:
1) A brief description of the history of the environmental issue you chose (with at least 5 citations).
2) A brief reflection on the sociological causes and consequences of the environmental issue.
Include a bibliography in your paper, the format of which is up to you (e.g., MLA, APA, ASA, etc.) Just be consistent in citation and bibliographic format. The paper should be roughly 5 pages (try not to exceed 7 pages if possible), double spaced, and in 12-point Times New Roman font. For graduate students, papers should be at least 10 pages with no upper limit.
