Assignment: Americans’ interaction with government actually happens most often at the state and local level. Meaning that the structures and powers of these more local governments have a greater impact on our daily lives. In your post, you will compare the structures and powers of the state government to the structures and powers of the federal government. How are state governments similar to the federal government and how are they different? You will need to use specific examples in your comparison. Then identify one way in which state government impacts your daily life. Be sure to use specific examples to describe this impact fully.
