Advocacy

In human services, there are many ways that a helping professional can advocate. The student will examine
advocacy in either "communities" OR "legislatively." Please choose one area and thoroughly describe how an
advocate will go through the process of advocating: decide on the issue first, why the motivation, what level is
in on, resources needed, and how would this process be utilized for a successful outcome (or sometimes
unsuccessful).
