Additional Assessment for HSC English

Order Description Additional Assessment for subject: EML442 This Additional Assessment (AA) will give you the opportunity to respond to the feedback you received from your marker for your first assessment item. The following revision process allows you the opportunity to improve on what you submitted for Assessment Item One and achieve a satisfactory level of achievement in this subject. On successful completion of the AA a PS grade can be awarded - the marking of an AA assessment item receives a PS/FL grade only. The content and submission guidelines for Assessment Item One, as well as the subject outline Assessment Item One information, should be carefully consulted as part of your AA revision and submission process. The submission process for this Additional Assessment is shown in Step 3 below. Please ensure you follow these steps in completing your Additional Assessment: STEP 1 Please work with the Assessment Item One as it was returned to you after it was marked (make a word doc copy for you to work on in your AA process), and then add the table (Step 2 below) at the end of the assessment item. Leave the marker comments and corrections/suggestions in the margins and all marking records (remember the marker will have a copy of your original, marked assessment item). Leave the feedback sheet attached at the end of the AA word doc assessment item. STEP 2 Create a 2 column table using the following headings: Column 1: Marker Suggestion/Comment/Feedback Column 2: My response to the Suggestion/Comment/Feedback (N.B. All corrections/additions/changes have been highlighted with yellow throughout the revised assessment item.) • In column 1, cut and paste the original comment or error indicated and state the page it came from. • In column 2, explain how you have addressed this within the revised additional assessment item. • Any text you remove from the original, marked assessment item please show with a strikethrough line and also highlight in yellow: e.g. 21st century literacies • Any text you add in the assessment item highlight with yellow: e.g. 21st century literacies • If there is a comment that states there is a need to correct a consistent error throughout the assessment item and it is indicated only the first time for you, you should create one entry only for this item in the table, and then ensure you correct all instances of these errors throughout the assessment item to improve the assessment item. e.g. 21st centry litercayies 21st century literacies • You should create one table entry for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, expression flaws and correct them throughout the assessment item with a strikethrough line through errors and highlight with yellow: e.g. 21st centry litercayies and then include the correction next to them and highlight with yellow e.g. 21st century literacies • You should create one table entry for corrections to references/citations and correct them throughout the assessment item with a strikethrough line through errors and highlight with yellow: e.g. .( 2012 G Henderson page 212) and then include the correction next to them and highlight with yellow e.g. (Henderson, 2012, p.212).
