You can choose from the following topics. You must use a minimum of 4 secondary sources (not counting
the play you choose to write about). Only one of those sources can be internet only. However, any articles or books you find online are not internet only. These 4 sources must be longer than 1000 words to count. You may not write about the same play you wrote about in your first paper.
- Research some aspect of the time when one of the plays occurred and demonstrate how that historical,
cultural, social, or political background has an effect on the play. - A traditional literary research paper where you look at the text and/or performance of the play and
discuss an issue, theme, or problem in it.
The narrower the topic, the better.
