through the lens of intercultural communication. You will need to define the social/political issue using credible
citations. You will explain how power operates within this intercultural context as well as how identity and
history shape the sides of the social/political issue. begin to see the operations of power in intercultural
communication, you hopefully develop a sense of social justice to repair and transform inequity. Advocacy and
coalition are part of becoming a competent and critical intercultural communicator. You would take a position
on what to do about this issue, guided by activists and credible sources that have done work on this before.
