Sample Answer
The learning theory/method that will guide my planning process is constructivism. Constructivism is a theory of learning that suggests that learners construct their own knowledge through interaction with their environment. This means that learners are not simply passive recipients of information, but rather active participants in the learning process.
Constructivism is based on the following principles:
- Learners are active participants in the learning process.
- Learners construct their own knowledge through interaction with their environment.
- Prior knowledge and experiences play an important role in learning.
- Learning is best achieved when it is meaningful and relevant to the learner.
