Order Description
(( I’ll upload an old Reflection Journal and I want the same layout))
Assessment Task
AE2 will require the students to undertake a self-evaluation of their research skills, reflecting on their improvement over the year and identifying areas where more effort is required in order to become effective researchers. At the very start of the year all students will undertake a self-assessment which will be used as the baseline for their evaluation in AE2. This will help you reflect on the development of your learning skills over the year and areas that you could improve on.
Your reflection must include the following:
A title page
An introduction, where you will identify the reflective model you will apply to your work (Refer to my-course for a reminder of these).
Main contents – Your reflection on task 1 – Presentation skills task 2- Group work task 3- Time management
A conclusion
References of all sources used – you must have at least 3 accurately referenced sources.
The main contents will include reflection of the work you have undertaken during the year. You must discuss at least 3 topics covered within the lectures and seminars within this reflection, but this should NOT include the report writing or data analysis. Please check with your lecturer that the 3 you have chosen are valid.
You should apply your chosen reflective model to assist you with this assignment (Refer to class notes on my-course).
You should present your work carefully in a logical, well-structured manner, making use of titles and sub-titles. You should clearly demonstrate your understanding of the purpose of the work you have undertaken, what you have learnt from it, and how you can improve on it in the future.
Assessment guidelines
Assessment for most of the tasks undertaken uses assessment criteria which are a systematic way of assessing students work based on the total of a range of criteria. This is available to you before you undertake the assessment tasks and provides explicit guidelines as to what is expected (See below). You should be able to judge your own level of achievement based on this criteria.
The reflective journal MUST be referenced in accordance with Harvard system.
Presentation: 1.5 line spacing, font size 12. All figures and tables must be numbered, labeled and referenced.
