Topic: Response paper

Order Description
Write a short response paper (2 to 3 pages, double spaced, 12 point font) on any one of the following three documentaries available on ICON (under the ‘contents’ tab). For your chosen documentary, analyze what it reveals about the particular genre or style of music that it is about, and what it tells us about socio-cultural context in which that particular genre is or was performed. Use at least two primary sources (i.e. not lectures/ powerpoints) from the syllabus in your analysis of the documentary, relating the documentary to your chosen references.
