across diverse societies in their historical and cultural contexts around the globe, what do you consider to
be an important theme in global history and why?

1) Think about a theme with global impact that we have covered in this class.
2) Introduce and explain your theme.
3) Think about at least two examples (in two different body paragraphs) from different parts of the world
(Europe, Asia, the Americas, Muslim World, etc.) to support your argument. Your examples should come
from the topics and time periods that we have covered in this class since the beginning of the semester.
